Welcome to Queen Charlotte Yacht Club!

ImageThe Queen Charlotte Yacht Club sails each Saturday during the summer season (October - March) on the waters of Picton Harbour or Queen Charlotte Sound.

Each week a variety of yachts turn out including Optimists, P Classes, Starlings, Splashes, Lasers, 420s, Europes and the Club regularly hosts South Island and National Regattas. If you or any of your family are interested in learning to sail, or already sail, you are most welcome to come along and join in and see if you would like to join us regularly as a Club Member.

Opening Day was a real success with a great firing of the canon and a race in gusty conditions on the inner harbour.  If you are interested in participating in the QCYC or joining a Learn to Sail course please get in contact.
 
P-Class & Starling South Island Champs

The P-Class and Starling Class SI Champs are to be held at QCYC over 13 - 14 December 2008. The Regatta also incorporates the selection of the Marlborough Tanner Cup representative. The Notice of Race and Entry Form are now available. Entries are due at QCYC by Monday 8 December 2008.
 
Splash Nationals at QCYC

The Splash Nationals will be held at Queen Charlotte Yacht Club, Picton from 26 February - 1 March 2009. The Notice of Race and Entry Form are now available.  More information will be published here soon.
