This Saturday the OD is Carl Gratton and there will be three races starting at the usual time of 1.40.
* Hearty Congratulations to the QCYC sailors who sailed in the Sir Peter Blake Regatta.
QCYC was represented by
- Alastair Gifford in the Open Opti (17th overall)
- William Gifford in the Starling (32nd overall)
- Declan Burn in the Laser Radial ( 12th overall)
Well done guys.
Reminders for this weekend
* Xmas raffle goods are still being collected. See Maree Trewavas in the kitchen. Please get them in this weekend in preparation for next weekend's Christmas party.
* Let Maree know numbers for the Christmas barbecue on the 18th. Tell her this Saturday to help with numbers for catering.
* Any Christmas decorations going spare at your place will be gratefully received at QCYC on Saturday, so the clubhouse can be 'done up' for the party the following weekend.
Christmas party weekend sailing ( December 18th)
Graeme Ellis will be OD. He is planning a circuit, maybe including Mabel Island depending on the conditions. He wants to get everyone on the water early (around 11 am) so we are finished up by mid-afternoon for the festivities. Plan to be at QCYC by 10am.
