We’re thrilled to welcome Annabelle Rennie-Younger as our new Head Coach at QCYC for the summer! Annabelle brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the role.
A current university student, she began sailing at the age of 14 and has been coaching for the past nine years.
As an athlete, Annabelle has an impressive competitive record, including national titles in both the ILCA 6 and 470 classes, a top-five finish at the Youth World Championships in the ILCA 6, and a medal at the U23 Junior European Championships in the 470.
Most recently, Annabelle worked as a performance engineer with Emirates Team New Zealand during their successful America’s Cup campaign — experience she’s excited to bring back to the grassroots level.
Annabelle is passionate about the sport and loves being on the water. She’s excited to share her knowledge and energy with the QCYC community and help our sailors grow and thrive this season!
